Repairs
A garage door is the heaviest moving object in most homes. When one part gives out the rest of the system takes the strain, so a small repair made early is almost always the cheaper repair.
Torsion springs carry the weight of the door. When one snaps the door becomes far too heavy to lift safely and the opener cannot manage it. This is the most common repair we do, and we replace springs so the balance stays true.
Frayed or jumped cables let one side of the door drop, which twists the panels and can pull the door off its track. We replace the cable, reset the drums, and rebalance the door.
Worn rollers and dry bearings are what make a door loud, rough, and slow. Replacing them is inexpensive and it takes a surprising amount of load back off the opener.
Vertical and horizontal track alignment, flag brackets, struts, and backhangs. A door that binds, catches, or comes off its track is usually an alignment problem rather than a door problem.
Photo eye sensors, limit and force settings, safety reverse, trolley rails, J arm mounting, and motors. If the opener lights blink and the door will not close, start with the sensors.
Dented and split sections, bottom weatherseal, and jamb seal. Colorado wind and snow find every gap, and a single section can often be replaced without replacing the whole door.
Doors We Work On
Preventive Maintenance
We recommend servicing a door twice a year. Here is every point we check, adjust, and lubricate while we are there.
How It Works
No call centers and no runaround. You talk to the people who will be working on your door.
Call or send a request. Describe the noise, the movement, or the error and we can usually narrow it down before we arrive.
We come out, test the door under load, and find the actual cause rather than the symptom that is easiest to see.
You hear what it needs, what it costs, and what can wait. Nothing gets replaced without your say so.
We finish the work, rebalance the door, and confirm the safety reverse before we leave the property.
